Currently, the Railway Board has asked to compile the total number of Station Master vacancies in all zones and calculate how many vacancies there are in total. On October 10th, the Railway Board issued an official notification urging an urgent vacancies survey. This notice has been sent to all possible railway zones in India, let’s see what it says. At present, the Railways has insisted on a complete census of the number of retirees and promotions from the post of Station Master.
It has been urged to compile all the Station Master Vacancies from today till Augest 2025 and hand over the number of vacant posts to the Railway Board. The Railway Board has urged all Zonal Railway Boards to calculate these vacancies by comparing those who retire and those who get promotions. Mainly within 10 days of publication of this notice i.e. by 20-10-2023 the total number of vacancies in all zones should be handed over to the Railway Board.
