RRC ALP Bharti 2024: After six years, vacancies for Assistant Loco Pilot were released by the Railways. Angered by the low number of vacancies, 22 lakh candidates nationwide organized a protest campaign on Saturday. The candidates have started the campaign by tweeting the hashtag IncreaseRailwayALVPacancy. This hashtag remained among the top ones trending for the whole day. Candidates said that the Railways which has given a maximum number of vacancies has released the least number of vacancies.

At the same time, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also came out in support of the unemployed candidates. He has written that when every third youth of the country is a victim of unemployment, the Prime Minister has once again betrayed them. This time the fraud is on those students who come from ordinary families and work hard for 18-18 hours, who live in small rented rooms and dream big. Where is the promise of 2 crore jobs?

Recruitment for 5696 posts of Assistant Loco Pilot

Let us tell you that the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued recruitment notification for 5696 posts of Assistant Loco Pilot on 19 January 2024. Eligible candidates can apply for this recruitment by visiting the respective RRB website from January 20, 2024. The last date of application is 19 February 2024. The link to fill RRB online application form has also been activated. Before this recruitment, the Railway Recruitment Board had recruited 64371 posts of ALP and Technician in the year 2018. Let us tell you that after 2018-19, the notification for the recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilot has been issued.

RRB ALP Qualification

For Railway ALP recruitment, candidates must have passed the 10th examination. Along with this, it is also necessary to have an ITI certificate in a recognized trade. The salary of Assistant Lok Pilot will be in the range of Rs 19900 – 63200.
