It is usual for TNPSC to fill the vacant posts in most government offices in Tamil Nadu. Currently, due to the increase in retirement and promotion in various government offices, the vacancies are very high, according to TNPSC. It has been reported that there will be more vacancies this year while 7000 vacancies were released for the post of TNPSC Group 4 in July last year.
TNPSC Group 4 Notification has a total of vacancies for 11 different posts which specifically include posts like VAO, Junior Assistant, Bill Collector, Typist, and Steno Typist. It is noted that the educational qualification for these posts is a 10th-standard pass.

To apply for the post of TNPSC Group 4 VAO you must have at least a 10th pass. Skin tests will also be conducted for a few posts.

TNPSC has said that there may be five thousand more vacancies in TNPSC Group 4 notification as compared to last year because of the high number of vacancies in Tamilnadu government offices. That means there will be 15000 vacancies in TNPSC Group 4 and VAO Motivation this year. Officially informed by TNPSC that the number of applicants may be more due to more vacancies and therefore the cut-off mark will be higher.
